Last Leg

While I was definitely sad to leave Buenos Aires and South America, I was very excited for my trip to Costa Rica. For three weeks I traveled around starting with some fun in Alajuela and then hitting up some beaches on the west coast (Tamarindo, Playa Grande) before heading inland to see the active volcano at Arenal along with a beautiful 70 meter waterfall in La Fortuna. We even got to see some lava flowing down the mountain at night. After that I headed south to Jaco and from there travelled with some friends to Malpais and Montezuma for more beautiful beaches and waterfalls. After a few days of partying back in Jaco I headed over to the Caribbean side and spent my last week in Puerto Viejo at a very cool hostel called Rockin J's. (Check out the pics) The Caribbean side was amazing. We rented bikes and rode up the coast checking out one beautiful secluded beach after another. Definitely wasn't ready to leave, but alas, I'm now back in NY gearing up for my brothers wedding. I'm also starting to plan my next trip. Right now it looks like Barcelona for a few months with trips to many European countries thrown in for good measure. Just want to say thanks to all the friends I met along the way for helping to make my trip such an amazing, memorable experience. Can't wait to visit all of you in your native lands.

Ciao.
